You had a bad day...

26 October 2006
How many times do we here that annoying song when we are having a bad day. Gosh!

So yeah I had a rather bad/uneventful week. It might have been cause I was a bit down. You know when a girl, especially me, gets a bit depressed she eats sweets. Well I managed to eat a half carton of cookies and cream ice cream.
But you see when I get really depressed the sweets don't really do it, so I have to take steps to remedy this. And well to make me feel better I bought these:

Shoes are such a simple pleasure

Fabulous shoes that are awesome and Carlos Santana brand (which I have wanted to own a pair of this shoes for a year or so). I splurged, but in my defense of frivolousness, I don't have a pair like them. Now my heart can begin to be repaired with my feet looking stylish.

It been too long...

So I know I haven't written in a while, but I have been busy. I know that is a sorry excuse, but it is the truth. What have I been up to?

1. I have been busy at work launching Nats News - my ticket to fame and fortune. I had to build the webpage, learn the tools I would be using and put togehter a few stories before the launch last week. Busy, but fun and a great learning experience. You can check it out online at www.azfamily.com/natsnews. Let me know what you think.

2. I have been looking for a place to live. After looking for a few weeks, I have decided to purchase a two-bedroom condo (scary-yeah) in Paradise Valley (sounds so tropical). The place is about 15 minutes from work, the parents and nightlife so that is great. Such a good location and in a safe place (which was important to my rents) It will be December before I move in cause the place is being totally remodeled, so I got to pick out carpet, tile, countertops and cabinents. I will be getting a roommate sometime in the first of the year, so this is your chance to move out to Phoenix.

3. I took a vacation to Kansas. I went back to L-town for Homecoming. I was wondering how things would go seeing that it was just over three months since I had moved away, but it was a blast. I got to see a bunch of people and spend good time with a few of my favorites. I got to have the Gameday experience, even though Magino and the boys didn't deliver a victory. It was great to act like a college kid for a few days. I think that I will always go back to visit Lawrence even if I don't know anyone there to visit, cause it is such a great little town.

After my weekend I was thinking, as I have been told I do too much, about my friends. Moving around so much when I was younger I didn't really have a lot of good friends or didn't do my best to stay in touch with a few who could have been lifelong friends. It was good to go back and see a few friends that I think/hope/know will be lifers. I love you guys!

I know I have been promising pics, but my harddrive is on its last limb (that means I might have to get a new harddrive or computer-ugh) so it might be a bit before I can share them with you.

Have a good Football Sunday!
