Start spreading the news......I am going to be a part of it, New York, New York

Da da dunna duh.....

So Adam, Rylan, Maggie and I took a small bite out of the Big Apple! It was good to get back to the city the never sleeps and let me tell you I never slept on this trip. From taking advantage of the fact that bars don't close til 4 am and waking up at 4am to go to Good Morning America sleep was definitely not a priority on the trip. But that for all the more fun!!! It was fun, got to go shopping, Maggie got lost in Times Square, got buy shoes (different than shopping when you are in NYC), ate Essa Bagel, a canoli, lamb, Chinese and Italian (to name a few), saw the sights, went ice skating in Bryant Park, Empire State Building in a snow storm (it looked as if we were in a snow globe-very cool, even though it was very cold), up town, Times Square, downtown, East Village, West Village, Colombia University, Knicks v Celtic, KU v St. Joe and then a 6am plane ride home. Uh that sounds exhausting and I am sure that I forgot a few things (namely Adam's 6 times he went to the bathroom from the Kansas City airport to arriving at my aunt's house). Adam and I got a seven plus out of nine, met Adam's GMA co-workers, saw my cousins and Ali, spent lovely time with my Aunt Charna (who graciously let us invade her apartment for two nights-THANK-YOU), saw Bailey Skiles and Erin 'Diggs' Eastwood and did I mention H & M. So all and all it was a good trip.

I realize this is so short. As time goes on I might add bits a pieces so that I will remember all the crazy times in the big city.

And a message from the Manhattan Transit Authority: Please do not ride on the outside of subway cars, as it can be dangerous and cause serious injury or death.

Da da dunna duh....
