The sadness of the situation in the Gulf continues to worsen as the body count begins to rise.

So again watching television, 60 minutes, and felt the need to comment. So, the mayor of New Orleans was talking about the situation and meeting with President Bush when he came down to survey the situation. Reading about the government's lack of response time and other inabilities in their response to finally hear from the mayor's mouth the truth, or probably the closest to it considering his point-of-view, it makes you think. Think about the disaster area the size of the state of Kansas and the idea that in the coming weeks the thousands who have died will be discovered. Beauracratic crap! So yeah-I think maybe I need stop watching tv, but if you think about it it is hard to not somehow be influenced by the situation.

It was nice to spend a moment of silence for the peopleurday at the football game on Sat and to give a donation to the American Red Cross and feel like I am heling in some way. You can donate online very easily too.
